Implementation

There are a variety of ways in which the Healix medical algorithms and scoring process can be used in the policy administration process. Whichever method is used, user support is provided by the bank of doctors and nurses at the Healix offices, and medical system updates are provided on a quarterly basis.
 
 Service delivery methods essentially fall into two groups where :

1. Healix provides only the medical risk-rating service or
   
2. Healix provides both medical risk-rating and the capability
   to provide a complete fulfillment service
   

If the medical risk-rating only approach is taken, the clients’ host system collects personal and travel data and collects payment and issues documentation as appropriate, with medical question-sets and risk scores supplied by a Healix plug-in.
