Healix Directors meet the Queen at Buckingham Palace

Healix directors, Paul Beven and John Pugh, were honoured to meet the Queen at Buckingham Palace after receiving a Queen's Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category.

The award was in recognition of the impact that the medical risk assessment service that Healix provides has had on the UK travel insurance industry.  The combination of the design of our medical algorithms, the accuracy with which the scores predict underwriting risk and John Pugh's ingenious IT delivery mechanisms has meant that Healix medical risk assessment is widely used in UK travel insurance both in call centres and over the Internet, and enjoys the confidence of underwriters and sellers of the product alike.

Our ambition now is to develop similar tools for other products including PMI, Life, Creditor and Annuities and sell the product overseas with the same degree of success, and perhaps achieve another Award in the International Trade category.
